Happy Easter! Okay, okay, I know I am late, but I was super sick and I was having trouble being my happy-go-lucky self. But I am back! Considering the fact that my temperature got up to 103.9 the Saturday before Easter, I really had a pretty good time. You will notice, however, that I am in my pajamas in every picture! I started feeling sick on Thursday night and my temp was around 100.9. Mama was hoping it was teething or something....you know, nothing a good night sleep won't take care of. I woke up Friday and was at 102.5 and I pretty much stayed there all day. By Saturday morning I hadn't eaten much food and my temp was still up there........ I pulled it together and came upstairs and painted eggs with Mama and Daddy. It was great fun. I even ate a couple of them.
What, you don't wear a helmet when you paint your Easter eggs? Don't knock it til you try it :)
I think the stickers were supposed to go on the eggs, but most of them ended up on our faces!
My fever peaked after my nap on Saturday, but by midnight it finally broke. I woke up on Easter morning and even though I didn't have a lot of energy, I felt like a new person! I came upstairs and there were balloons (my favorite!!!) and there was even a special basket just for me!
I made sure that the bunny got some of my treats too! I love to share with my stuffed animals (they never seem to eat as much as my friends)
Nana and Popi were there too..... we were supposed to have more friends over, but Mama didn't think it was a good idea with my fever and all. She was probably right. Nana brought over some awesome bunny ears for all of us to wear.....
